Privacy Policy- Panoramic Digital Health Platform in Clinical Studies
Panoramic Digital Health provides an actigraphy bracelet and supporting software services for use by researchers, including in clinical studies. In this context, Panoramic Digital Health is a Processor of personal data because we process data on behalf of and under the authority and instructions of a Controller (typically a pharmaceutical company or research institute). It is the Controller of the personal data who decides which data to collect and process, as well as establishing the retention period and legal basis for which Panoramic Digital Health may process your personal data. The exact nature of processing is typically governed by specific Data Processing Agreements between by Panoramic Digital Health and the controller. In this situation, Panoramic Digital Health does not have direct contact with data subjects, nor do we process personal data for our own purposes. The controller is responsible for their obligations to provide information to data subjects as set out in the GDPR. As a processor, Panoramic Digital Health, will endeavour to assist controllers to meet their obligations to ensure the rights of data subjects and to comply with data protection legislation. Panoramic Digital Health has implemented technical and organisational measures to ensure that any processing is carried out in accordance with data protection law and under instructions from the Controller. Data we collect and Process Study Personnel: this includes staff at hospital sites involved in a clinical study. We collect the name, role and email address of study personnel to provide login credentials to the Panoramic Digital Health Platform. This information may also be used to provide technical support and training. We will also collect the IP addresses of any computers or other devices you use to connect to the PDH platform. Study Participants: these are persons who have consented to participate in a research or clinical study. Panoramic Digital Health only has access to your pseudonymised data which means it is coded so that individuals cannot be identified by anyone without access to the identifiable data in the hospital systems. ID of devices you are using
IP addresses of any devices you use to connect to the PDH platform.
We additionally collect
Information related to your physical activity, movement data, including step-count, from wearable sensors in the bracelet.
Information about battery and storage level on the bracelet.
Information related to your home environment from environment beacons: the temperature, light level and noise level in your home, and your proximity to those beacons. This data is only collected in certain studies.
