Panoramic Wearable Platform

meaningful measures for clinical research
Picture
Picture
With users wearing a bracelet, and beacons around the house, we can get far greater insight into user behaviours.
Panoramic Digital Health offers an innovative wearable sensor platform for data collection to provide:
  • Information about a person's activity based on accelerometer data.
  • Insights into a persons behaviour based on additional sensor data, including location in the home.
  • Measures of Social Interaction when multiple individuals wear the devices

The solution comprises:
  • A waterproof wearable bracelet; the module can also be worn on the waist, hip, back.
  • Optional "beacons" that provide environmental context including position and ambient conditions- no installation is required for the beacons, the user just places them around the home.
  • Easy project set-up and device configuration via the web app
  • Device activation either remotely or in the clinic via a study app
  • "Real-time" compliance monitoring via a participant app and web dashboard to help reduce data loss
  • Flexible data storage options, with optional home hub to transfer data.
The Panoramic Wearable Platform is available now and is intended for researchers wanting to maximise the value of actigraphy measures while maintaining full control over their data.

Why Choose the Panoramic Platform?

Picture
Pre-defined “Data acquisition modes” which allow you to configure which sensors are on, and how they are collecting data on a per-study basis.
  • A single device that can be flexibly configured to connect only the data required
  • Enable intensive data collection over a few days, or long term concise data collection without charging.
Picture
Dynamically change the data acquisition mode based on a project-specific time schedule. A few examples:
  • Step count all the time, but high resolution accelerometer on at night
  • 26Hz accelerometer all the time, but for 2 hour each morning, collect data with all sensors operating.
Picture
Beacons provide additional context on location, temperature, light and noise levels to help interpretation of the data.
  • Which room is the wearer in?
  • Are they with a family member or carer?
  • How many times do they get up in the night or leave their home on a typical day?
  • What are ambient conditions (temperature, luminosity, noise)?
